The National Wreaths Across America Day is set to take place on December 16 at the Little Rock National Cemetery. This annual wreath-laying ceremony is organized by the nonprofit organization Wreaths Across America, which coordinates similar events at veterans’ cemeteries and other locations across the country.
This year, sponsorship groups have raised funds to sponsor the placement of over 8,000 veterans’ wreaths on the headstones of fallen service members at the Little Rock National Cemetery. The goal of this event is to honor and remember those who have served our country, while also educating future generations about the sacrifices made by these individuals.
The ceremony in Little Rock will begin at 11:00 a.m. Central on the south side of the cemetery on East 26th Street. Those interested in volunteering for the event can reach out to the organizers via email or phone for more information. This is a great opportunity to show support for our fallen heroes and to participate in a meaningful tribute to their memory.
