The Arkansas Razorbacks recently announced their 2024 signing class, which consists of 17 high school standouts and two junior college products. This signing class ranks number 18 in Perfect Game’s recruiting rankings, making it the ninth consecutive year that head coach Dave Van Horn, along with Nate Thompson, Matt Hobbs, and Bobby Wernes, has brought in a top-20 class in Perfect Game’s rankings. The team is excited to welcome the new players to Baum-Walker Stadium, with Coach Van Horn stating, “Congratulations to this year’s signing class. Coach Thompson, Coach Hobbs, and Coach Wernes worked around the clock to identify guys who fit our program, desire to get better, want to develop, and love to work extremely hard. We believe the future is bright for this group, and we’re excited to get them here to Baum-Walker Stadium.”
The 19-man signing class includes 10 pitchers, nine position players, and players from the United States and Australia. The players come from eight different states, showcasing the team’s commitment to recruiting talent from all over. Coach Thompson is thrilled about these young men choosing to make Baum-Walker Stadium their home, noting that they are hardworking and talented competitors who are passionate about the program.
The class features several notable players, including Tag Andrews, Zane Becker, Kel Busby, Brenton Clark, Eli Crecelius, Lance Davis, Steele Eaves, Jackson Farrell, Ross Felder, and several others who have been recognized for their outstanding talent and achievements in high school. The team is excited about the potential impact that this group of performers will have on the program and looks forward to seeing them in action in the fall.
