Atlanta Rapper Rich Homie Quan Dead at 33

Atlanta rap icon Rich Homie Quan has passed away at the age of 33, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed on Thursday. The rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, died after being found unconscious at a home in Atlanta. The cause of death has not been immediately released, and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

According to authorities, Atlanta police responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Hamden Forest Drive SW around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday. First responders were alerted after Quan’s girlfriend found him unresponsive on the couch. The rapper was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where his death was later confirmed.
