The rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, died after being found unconscious at a home in Atlanta. According to authorities, Atlanta police responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Hamden Forest Drive SW around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday. First responders were alerted after Quan’s girlfriend found him unresponsive on the couch. The rapper was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where his death was later confirmed.
